Props & Materials Required

  • Mini Changpa Rebo tent model (Yak hair/wool fabric, wooden poles)
  • 2x DS18B20 digital temperature sensor probes (Inside & Outside tent)
  • Ice block cold chamber (simulates -10°C sub-zero Ladakh cold)
  • ESP32 controller board
  • 16x2 LCD display screen
  • DFPlayer Mini MP3 module + 3W speaker

Step-by-Step Instructions

Place Rebo Tent in Cold Chamber

Place the Rebo tent model inside an ice-packed cold box (-10°C).

Insert Temperature Probes

Place Probe 1 outside tent (-10°C) and Probe 2 inside tent.

Track Internal Heat Retention

Warm stove inside tent keeps internal temperature at +18°C! LCD displays 'Temp Delta: 28°C Insulation!'.

Pashmina Wool Story Audio

Speaker narrates: 'Yak hair woven Rebo tents protect Changpa nomads from freezing mountain winds! Pashmina wool is 6 times warmer than sheep wool!'
