Step-by-Step Instructions

Inspect Home Safety Sensors

Locate the IR flame sensor on the roof and smoke sensor inside the kitchen model.

Simulate Fire Hazard

Shine a safe IR flashlight / TV remote signal toward the flame sensor.

Trigger Smart Alarm

Sensor detects IR flame light! Red LED flashes strobe pattern, alarm sounds, and speaker shouts: 'FIRE DETECTED! EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY! CALL 101!'
