Step-by-Step Instructions

Handspan Measurement

Measure the length of a table by placing handspans end-to-end. Count: '1, 2, 3... 8 handspans long!'

Smart Sensor Measures Too

Place the ultrasonic distance sensor at one end of the table. Press the button. Speaker announces: 'The table is 90 centimeters long! That's 8 of your handspans!'

Compare with Parent

Have a parent measure the same table. Compare: Why is child's count 10 while parent's count is 7? The sensor confirms the table didn't change — only the hand size did!

Heavier vs. Lighter

Hold an apple in one hand and a pencil in the other. The smart balance confirms which is heavier with a speaker announcement.

Why It Works & Notes
