A motorized sorting tray distributes marbles equally into 2, 3, or 4 friend cups. An IR sensor counts marbles per cup and speaker announces division sentences ('12 shared among 3 friends = 4 each!').

Step-by-Step Instructions

Select Number of Friends

Press button to select number of friends sharing (e.g. 3 friends).

Drop Marbles into Funnel

Drop 12 marbles into the top hopper. The servo-driven nozzle rotates to dispense 1 marble into cup 1, then cup 2, then cup 3 in round-robin fashion.

IR Sensor Verification

IR sensors in each cup confirm that each cup received exactly 4 marbles.

Division Announcement

Speaker celebrates: '12 marbles shared equally among 3 friends gives 4 marbles each! 12 divided by 3 is 4!'

Why It Works & Notes

Division is fundamentally equal sharing. Watching a motorized funnel physically distribute marbles one-by-one into friend cups embeds the concept of division as fair sharing without remainder.
