From Tasting to Digesting (Smart Digestive Tract & Glucose Energy Meter)
Source:
Trace food through an interactive digestive tract board with LED path lights. Place food samples (Bread, Sugar, Salt, Lemon) into the stomach chamber; a glucose color sensor measures sugar digestion speed and plays stomach acidity sounds.

Props & Materials Required
- •Interactive human digestive system board with LED flow paths
- •TCS3200 / TCS34725 RGB color sensor (glucose test strip reader)
- •Safe acetic acid / lemon stomach fluid chamber
- •ESP32 controller board

Step-by-Step Instructions
Select Food Sample
Pick a slice of Bread card and place it on the Mouth station.
Saliva Digestion Start
LEDs flash down the Oesophagus tube. Speaker plays chewing and saliva mixing sounds.
Stomach Acid Break Down
Bread enters stomach. Stomach chamber lights up yellow (hydrochloric acid breaking down carbohydrates into glucose).
Glucose Energy Meter Readout
OLED screen displays: 'Glucose Absorption: FAST! 120 Calories Energy released to muscles!'
Why It Works & Notes
Digestion transforms food into glucose energy through saliva, stomach acids, and enzymes. Tapping food items on taste bud sensors and watching LEDs illuminate the digestive path from mouth to stomach turns biology into an interactive voyage.
