Filling & Lifting (Smart Liter & Kilogram Measurement Station)
Source:
Pour water into a graduated container with a submerged pressure sensor and weigh heavy objects on a 5kg load cell platform. The LCD screen displays standard units (L, ml, kg, g) and performs unit conversions.
Categorisation
Props & Materials Required
- •1-Liter graduated water container
- •Submersible hydrostatic pressure sensor / ultrasonic water depth sensor
- •5kg load cell weight platform with HX711 amplifier
- •ESP32 controller board
- •16x2 LCD display screen
- •DFPlayer Mini MP3 module + 3W speaker
Step-by-Step Instructions
1
Weigh Heavy School Bag
Place a school bag on the 5kg load cell platform.
2
Read Weight in kg and g
LCD displays '2.50 kg (2500 grams)'. Speaker announces: 'Bag weight: 2 Kilograms and 500 Grams!'
3
Fill Water Container
Pour water into the container. Hydrostatic sensor measures liquid depth.
4
Read Capacity in Liters
LCD displays '750 ml (0.75 Liters)'. Speaker explains: 'Add 250 ml more to make 1 Full Liter!'
Why It Works & Notes
Lifting weights (kg/g) and filling liquids (L/ml) requires understanding standard units. Electronic load cells and hydrostatic pressure sensors show that 1 Liter = 1000 ml and 1 Kilogram = 1000 grams.
